Phenie was born on January 23, 1944 and passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017.

Phenie was a resident of Freeport, Illinois at the time of passing.

He graduated from Aquin High School in 1962.

He served with the United States Navy from 1964-1968, 2 years in Puerto Rico and 2 years in Maryland.

A funeral mass will be 10:30 A.M. Monday July 17, 2017 with Fr. Visitation will be from 3-7:00 P.M. Sunday at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, with a scripture service beginning at 3:00 P.M.; there will also be a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory. Sunday 16 Jul 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home - Freeport Location 504 N. Walnut Freeport, IL 61032 Scripture service beginning at 3:00 P.M. There will also be a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
