Bruce E. Scott
Bruce E. Scott, age 62, of Rock Falls, died Monday, January 8, 2018 at his home.
Bruce was born May 27, 1955 in Sterling the son of Gilbert L.and Donna (Shoffner) Scott. He married Julia Johnson on September 27, 1975 in Sterling and served in the US Air Force from 1977-1982. He was employed as a truck driver for many years.
Survivors include his wife of Rock Falls; his parents of Rock Falls; three daughters, Stephanie (Natalie Paille) Harting, Laura Church and Kimberly Scott all of Rock Falls; two sons-in-law, Mike Harting and Kerry Church both of Rock Falls; one sister, Dianna Dale of Rock Falls; three brothers, Dean (Roice) Scott, Gilbert W. Scott and Dennis (Lori) Scott all of Rock Falls; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Scott and one sister, Faith Ann Scott.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene in Sterling. Funeral services with military honors will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
