Alan was born on January 22, 1925 and passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018.

Alan was a resident of Winnebago, Illinois at the time of passing.

Graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 1943.

Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy on the LST's 502 and 854 #1101 in Europe and the South Pacific. Retired from Barber-Colman Company.

Predeceased by his parents; 1st wife, Virginia; 2nd wife, Jean; daughter, Karla; sisters, Beverly and Carol Florence; infant brother, Phillip; and brother, Glenn. Memorial service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, in Delehanty Funeral Home, Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 2 p.m. to service time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial to the American Diabetes Association .
